The Cake Bake Shop

A little slice of heaven.

Ever heard of The Cake Bake Shop? It's a little slice of heaven, that nobody here at home can stop talking about. So when my best friend Taylor, came home from Hawaii in November for her sisters wedding, we decided to take a trip down to Indianapolis to see what all the fuss was about.

Located in a cute little area in Indianapolis, The Cake Bake shop is owned by Gwendolyn Rogers, and boy are her cakes AMAZING! Pictured above is the "Southern Style Caramel Cake", that I had.

The Experience

As soon as Taylor and I walked in, it was like walking into a Winter Wonderland. It was truly breathtakingly gorgeous. It was decorated for the Christmas holiday, but still had its touch of pink every where, to include their toilet paper! They hand us a menu with the cakes that were "In Season", we went in November, so we had the fall selection of cakes! You have about 9 cakes to choose from, this includes their seasonal cakes, and their most popular that they are known for. If you're not in the mood for cake, they also have a food menu, along with other pies and desserts.

The experience we had was wonderful, and it was truly worth the fuss. If you're ever in Indianapolis, and would like to try one of the magical cakes, I suggest making a reservation so that you can do so!!
